Mike the therapy dog: good boy, great listener

This is my dog Mike, he’s a part-time therapy dog. When I’m not running ChookHQ we’re volunteering for Hato Hone St John Therapy Pet programme.

We hang with kids that need a little extra support with various diagnoses, social challenges or a tricky home life.

Today a little guy gave me his favourite Pokémon card because it makes him happy when I bring Mike to see him. So thumbs up to Mike for his outstanding sitting and listening skills. And thumbs up to St John for facilitating this programme…. support them where you can.
