This week we launched the #website for Visible Difference Aotearoa, a new not-for-profit dedicated to supporting Kiwis living with visible differences.

Visible differences can result from congenital conditions such as birthmarks or cleft lips, injuries like burns or wounds, illnesses, or surgery. Essential support services like physiotherapy or psychology are quite often underfunded or unavailable in NZ, leaving many people without the help they need. On top of that, stigma around visible differences affects schools and workplaces, limiting opportunities and impacting overall wellbeing.

The new website will be providing much-needed resources, connections, and support to Kiwis living with visible differences. We launched with a #MVP, with the plan to build resources, tools and engagement opportunities over the next few months.
